Why Buy Epson?

EPSON are a world leader in Imaging Technology...

EPSON has a long history of technological innovation, stretching back over more than 60 years and is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of computer printers and imaging equipment. Introducing the first Micro Piezo technology printer in 1993, EPSON launched the world's first 720 dpi color inkjet printer just one year later. Since this time EPSON have continued to innovate and now lead the field with many ground breaking technologies.

EPSON DURABrite Ink
Epson Durabrite and Durabrite Ultra Inks are the product of years of research and development by EPSON. The Durabrite inks produce laser like text and are ideal for glossy photos as well as everyday printing. Durabrite ink does not bleed and is therefore ideal for double sided printing, or where longevity is required, delivering lab quality prints that are good for up to 200 years.

EPSON Claria Ink
Epson Claria Photographic Claria Inks are dye based for an extra wide colour gamut and vivid gloss finish. Providing features such including water resistance, fade resistance and quick drying times, EPSON Claria Inks produce outstanding prints which can last up to 98 years in a frame and 200 years in an album.

EPSON Ultachrome Inks Epson Ultrachrome Inks have been developed for the latest generation of professional inkjet printers and was the first step in the production of professional pigment ink technology. Now with several variations such as Ultrachome K3, HDR, GS and Hi-Gloss2, Ultrachrome ink can deliver twice the density of conventional pigment based inks and provides outstanding levels of lightfastness.

EPSON AcuBrite Toner
EPSON have developed a range of special pigments for their AcuBrite range of toners and by incorporating a particularly small standard particle size, Epson AcuBrite Toners produce consistent, high quality, smooth output time after time, with lifelike bright, vibrant colour and the finest of details on each print. Waste is reduced with improved transfer of toner to paper.

Micro Piezo Technology
Micro Piezo Technology is unique to EPSON and produces print quality that is often the envy of EPSON's competitors. With a capability to simultaneously deliver up to 10 ink channels, variable droplet size and the ability to print droplets as small as 3.5 picoliters, printing time is greatly reduced whilst photographic output is significantly improved.

EPSON and the Environment
EPSON are committed to the environment and consideration for the planet is an integral part of their company strategy. EPSON was the first company to introduce policy on CFC products and achieved ISO 14001 certification for Enviromental Management in 2001 for it's entire group. EPSON considers itself a 'good corporate citizen' and works hard to improve enviromental mangament systems with enviromentally friendly production processes. Epson shares enviromental information in order to maintain high conversation standards.
